An Obsolete proverb: A priest goes no farther than the church
Obsolete
proverb:
A priest goes no farther than the church
New
updated version:
A
priest who runs a country, leads an army, looks after the economy, dominates
the politics and above all remains invincible.
Welcome
to Afghanistan whose rulers include Shaikhul Quran, Sheikhul Hadith, clerics,
Muftian i Karam, veteran commanders—who fought and defeated three superpowers
of the world—and others graduates of Islamic seminaries—Deoband School of thought-
the followers of Imam e Abu Hanifa R.Alh. The newly formed Govt. under the former
rulers of seminaries have decided to appoint and announce an interim Govt. to resume
Govt’s business and catch up with the contesting neighboring countries. There
are hardest and huge challenges to the newly formed Govt. ahead including infightings
among ethnic groups, flock of contesting proscribed organization i.e., TTP,
ISIS etc., tension on almost all borders, thin chances of recognition of the
new Govt. by the international community and the Afghan masses, miserable economic
conditions, low HR while a huge country to administer, intervention of foreign
intelligence agencies and other minor trials to address.
Their
spokesperson Molana Zabihullah Mujahid was asked by many news channels to respond
to the above questions/challenges and his response was epic. He said that all
issues/conflicts and challenges were not novel and that once the new Govt. is
formed each and every issue will be looked into and addressed as per Shariah
Law and as per the aspirations of the Afghan masses. He further stated that
they are not doing this for the first time but had a stable and prosperous Govt.
before the US illicit and unjustified invasion of Afghanistan.
The
newly formed Govt. could be based on the Islamic rulings and laws. They believe
that they allude to the Govts., formed by Khulafa e Rashidun—rightful Caliphs--.
The modern world is only modern because of one single reality i.e. the
Technology and industries which the ancient rulers did not have yet they were applauded
by their people for being just, loyal, honest and Godfearing. Does technology
fight injustice, disloyalty, corruption, dishonesty, incompetence, godlessness?
The answer is no. The entire world is in a state of suspended animation due to the
tech-developments and dependence. See to this, for the last 20 years a superpower
who defeated Russian in space exploration, who outpaced fellow developed nations
in modern weaponry and innovations etc. failed to subdue a group of above 80,000 poorly
equipped men. How can an army assisted by over 50 other developed nations,
aided by world’s No.1 intelligence agency, CIA and having modern technology
etc., fail to defeat a few thousand fighters?
If
you research for another 20 years you will not succeed in finding out an answer
better than this that US failed to defeat students of seminaries in Afghanistan
because they “relied upon technology and ridiculously large number of armed
men”. They failed to read history of Afghanistan and the result of the
former invasions attempted by erstwhile superpowers and colonizers. They ran
away leaving behind billions of dollars’ worth technology and weapons which
they neither could transport to the neighborhood nor take to the US via their Airforce.
WHAT THE NEW GOVT. IS PLANNING
ON DOING?
They
are not interested to make a democratic govt neither are up for embracing capitalism/communism.
They have publicly reiterated that they shall have a form of Govt. the world
already saw pre-US invasion of Afghanistan. They welcome all nations to seek
political, economic, military and other relations with them, however, they
refuse to be dependent upon a nation etc. Molana Zabihullah Mujahid has said
that their first task is to put the country on its feet as soon as possible.
TO THE MUSLIM WORLD:
The
fellow Muslim nations should stop giving in to the pressure and influence of the
superpowers who hand pick their leaders and who do not wish a bearded and
graduate of a seminary to hold the power and lead a nation. If we look at the Muslim
nations today, we fail to find a leader who has read & memorized Quran,
read Hadith and has adopted the ways of Nabi SAWW. Every single Muslim nation of
our time is poverty stricken, war torn and in deep debt trap. What could be the
possible reason behind it?
To
me, the misery of the Muslim World is due to the poor leadership, poor
governance, and above all borrowed Govt. and other systems in place. Take for
example Pakistan. Since it came to existence, it has never been free to decide
an Islamic Govt., a Shariah Court, an economic system on Islamic lines and
other institutions to run as per the Islamic laws.
The
Govt. include the following clerics:
- Head of State: Mullah Hassan Akhund
- First Deputy: Mullah Baradar
- Second Deputy: Mawlavi Hannafi
- Acting Minister of Defense: Mullah Yaqoub
- Acting Minister of Interior: Serajuddin Haqqani

It's still an ambiguity.
ReplyDeleteIt's still an ambiguity and it's still the twilight. Let the night pass, the day may break. World doesn't need a whole country for a college to teach ancient human history.
ReplyDeleteIts the beginning. Let's hope that the new Govt. establish friendly ties with her neighboring countries and the neighboring countries to affirmatively reciprocate.
ReplyDeleteHope against Hope!
